A two-disc collection showcasing a fascinating portrait of the British cycling experience on film.
We hosted a launch screening of the BFI's new film release in August 2015. We liked the shorts so much we've decided to sell them in our shop.
The DVDs feature short dramas, animations, advertisements, news items and public information reels. The compilation spans from nineteenth-century ladies elegantly cycling through to the cut-throat 1928 Olympic Trails at the Herne Hill Velodrome and careless 1980s BMX kids.
It offers up a century of cycling in Britain whilst celebrating classic brands such as Raleigh, Hercules and the hand-crafted Witcomb Racing Cycle.
